Sivakasi Box office collection

Sivakasi opened grandly at the Diwali box office. The comeback of Vijay and Perarasu's combo sparked great expectations and pre-release hype. The mass entertainer received a generally positive response amongst audiences. After a great opening though, the movie soon fizzled out and finished as Vijay's third highest grosser after Ghilli and Thirupaachi.

Sivakasi grossed nearly 30 crores worldwide with 26.55 crores from India and USD$793K (3.60cr) abroad.
